Aunque llevo algunos años tomando fotos con film siempre ha sido más un juego que otra cosa, pero últimamente, en el viaje personal en el que me encuentro, le estoy agarrando cada vez más gusto.
Venía usando cualquier cámara que me llegara a la mano, sobre todo la vieja cámara de mi padre, una Olympus OM-10, pero ésta cada vez necesita más reparaciones y los componentes electrónicos son difíciles de encontrar, es una cámara electromecánica de principio de los 80’s y desgraciadamente ya no puedo confiar en ella, una lastima porque el lente que tiene es una delicia.
Entonces mi mecánico de cámaras, el que repara y hace mantenimiento a todos mis equipos me vendió una vieja pero completamente funcional Pentax K1000, una muy sencilla cámara totalmente mecánica, y en el último mes mientras estaba de viaje por Guanare tomé un rollo para probar la cámara, y no podría estar más feliz, el resultado me tiene totalmente encantado, tanto que para mi próxima serie solo estoy viajando con ella.
En un futuro, espero no muy lejano, estaré montando más fotografías tomadas con la Pentax, todavía sigo haciendo pruebas, sobre todo con diferentes tipos de rollos de film, pero ya en caliente, trabajando directamente.

Although I have a few years taking pictures with film, has always been more a game than anything else, but lately, in the personal journey that I am, I’m taking it more and more taste.
I came it using any camera that came to me at hand, especially the old camera of my father, an Olympus OM-10, but this one increasingly needs more repairs and the electronic parts are hard to find, is an electromechanical camera from early 80’s and unfortunately I can no longer trust her, a pity because the lens that have is a delight.
Then my camera technician, which do all the repairs and maintenance to all my equipment, sold me an old but fully functional Pentax K1000, a simple fully mechanical camera, and in the last month while on trip to Guanare, I took a roll to test the camera, and could not be happier, the result has me absolutely delighted, now for my next series I’m only traveling with her.
In the future, I hope not too distant, I’ll be posting more pictures taken with the Pentax, I’m still doing tests, especially with different types of film, but in action, working directly.
