PabloEPenaP.com – New Online Portfolio

Español

(English after)

My website has always been my room to experiment, since Zircons, there I learned HTML, Flash and CSS, I remember way back in ’99, when my fellow web designers criticized me because my site size it was more than 1MB, much to the dial-up connections of 56 kb/s, but I insisted that whoever was interested would wait for the page to load.

Many versions come with small animated 3D renders and abstractions, some very successful, others not last even a month online, they were always changing.

Of course the main idea was show our work in Zircons, and then my personal work as
P3P510, however for me it was more fun the coding and the animation.

For a time my professional work focused on web design, but Internet was moving too fast and my knowledge in coding were left behind, as my interest in continuing learning, my tastes ended being more a hobby, and I continue with my main area that always has been the animation and motion design.

Without the pressure from clients and only as a hobby I kept working on my site when I had time and feel like, in mid-2000s my site has not much activity, I think I reach a basic design and then only used it to publish my more recent work.

And all change in 2007 when I discover
WordPress and started blogging, I finally had an space of freedom as ever, not only to test new designs, but to express myself beyond the graphics and develop one of my old passions, writing, at first it was an annex to my main site, then it became the most important part of my web presence.

Then the portfolio became the annex of my blog, only to potential clients, I had less time to publish my work, and the truth is it was never finished, though trying to keep up I was always behind, and every time it had more bugs, until a few years ago I decided to turn it out and go only with the blog.

The blog is more suited to what I am doing, I have dedicated almost exclusively to
photography and much of that is storytelling, a blog is a more comprehensive way to show that work.

Now in 2017 as part of a return to animation projects (next to post), between the apps I retake was the subscription to
Adobe CC, which among many things provides a portfolio service, based on the projects on my Behance profile, a perfect solution to regain my work online without much effort.

After playing around with the layout and a quick design, my portfolio is back online, now as a separate site with its own domain:
PabloEPenaP.com, part of the new things to come.
