Fue durante mi época en la universidad, cuando estudiaba Artes, que empecé a experimentar con la música electrónica, primero usando Reason Studios y luego Ableton Live. Aunque nunca dejé de experimentar con el sonido, durante mucho tiempo no sentí que realmente estuviera haciendo música.
Mucho después descubrí la síntesis modular, y eso cambió por completo mi manera de entender y acercarme a la música. Por primera vez sentí que tenía las herramientas para crear la música que realmente quería hacer. Entre todos los músicos que seguía y veía haciendo cosas maravillosas con módulos, había alguien cuyo trabajo me llamaba especialmente la atención: Sarah Belle Reid.
Desde el primer momento, sus videos me parecieron muy informativos y educativos. Así que cuando anunció su curso completo de sonido y síntesis, no dudé en inscribirme. Literalmente, ese curso me cambió la vida. Mi creatividad y mi práctica artística se expandieron a niveles que nunca había imaginado y, después de casi 20 años experimentando con sonido, por fin pude sentirme seguro de llamarme músico.
Por eso, cuando Sarah me contactó para hacerme una entrevista, no podía contener la emoción. Me sentí profundamente honrado por la oportunidad de compartir mi experiencia y hablar sobre este recorrido que, de alguna manera, comenzó hace tantos años.

It was during my time at university, while studying Art, that I began experimenting with electronic music, first using Reason Studios and later Ableton Live. Although I never stopped experimenting with sound, for a long time I never really felt that I was actually making music.
Much later, I discovered modular synthesis, and it completely changed the way I understood and approached music. For the first time, I felt that I had the tools to create the music I truly wanted to make. Among all the musicians I followed and watched doing wonderful things with modular systems, there was one whose work particularly caught my attention: Sarah Belle Reid.
From the very beginning, I found her videos incredibly informative and educational. So when she announced her complete course on sound and synthesis, I didn’t hesitate to sign up. That course literally changed my life. My creativity and artistic practice expanded to levels I had never imagined, and after almost 20 years of experimenting with sound, I finally felt confident calling myself a musician.
That’s why, when Sarah reached out to me for an interview, I could hardly contain my excitement. I felt deeply honored by the opportunity to share my experience and talk about a journey that, in many ways, began so many years ago.
