MITOSIS, part of the EXP_BOG.ECL project, was presented at *Immersive Futures of Latin America* during FutureScope Hong Kong. The exhibition brought together four artists from across the continent, showcasing immersive and generative works at the FutureScope Dome in Kai Tak Sports Park.

Stream New Year Session 2026

This New Year’s Eve 2025 I had to spend it alone at my house in Caracas, so I decided to do a live streaming set. It was entertaining, lots of improvisation, but also a lot of people who came in to say hello, which made me not feel so alone.

EXP_BOG.ECL is a hybrid project that merges a conceptual album and a generative audiovisual performance into a single living work. It premiered as part of the Expanded Code Live program at the Bogotá Experimental Film Festival 2025.

Mavis Cross Modulation Test

I’m continuing to explore more with my hardware, and now I’m working with my first analog synthesizer, the Moog Mavis, which I feel I have never fully explored its potential. I’m now experimenting with Cross Modulation and FM Synthesis using the two oscillators of the synthesizer, the VCO and the LFO, making connections between the Patch Bay and VCV Rack.

I’ve been working a lot lately on sound design with the VCV Rack and I’ve left the Arturia Microfreak aside for too long, but the time has come to get back to this wonderful synth, now controlling its functions and modulations also with the VCV Rack via MIDI CC, here’s a preview.
